Floris UMC to Hold Chocolate Festival

Delicious homemade chocolate will be available for purchase at the Chocolate Festival. Proceeds will benefit Help Hungry Kids, a program that sends food home in backpacks to children in local elementary schools who otherwise would be hungry over the weekend.

Floris United Methodist Church, 13600 Frying Pan Road,

Herndon, will hold the annual Chocolate Festival on Saturday, Feb. 9, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Bring family and friends and enjoy a day of great food and fun.

Games & Activities include:

  • Food

  • Carnival Games

  • Large Inflatables

  • Lots of Chocolate

  • Face Painting & Balloon Art

  • Recreation & Relaxation Silent Auction

Children can have their face painted as well as play a variety of carnival games at the Chocolate Festival. There will also be large inflatables and moon bounces for children.

Money raised will support Help Hungry Kids—the program that sends food home in backpacks to children in local elementary schools who otherwise would be hungry over the weekend and makes other efforts that support children in poverty.
