Northwest FCU to Host Economic Forecast Breakfast

On Tuesday, Feb. 26, northern Virginia’s business community has an opportunity to hear commentary and expert views on today’s economic conditions and real estate market trends from one of the nation’s top-ranked economic forecasters.

Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Research with the National Association of REALTORS®, will headline Northwest Federal Credit Union’s 2013 Economic Forecast Breakfast. A participant in many economic forecasting panels, including Blue Chip and the Harvard University Industrial Economist Council, Yun has been named among the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders by INMAN News. He will address the economic activities, trends, risks and outlook for the coming year.

“Dr. Yun is a highly respected and in-demand speaker on real estate market performance and forecasts,” said Chris McDonald, President/CEO of Northwest Federal. The Credit Union is a good resource for business banking and lending in the Northern Virginia area. “Those in attendance — particularly from the small business and real estate communities — will find his presentation very beneficial.”

The event is Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 a.m., at the Sheraton Reston Hotel, 11810 Sunrise Valley Drive. Yun’s presentation is scheduled from 8:15-9 a.m., and will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A/Open Forum. There is no cost to attend the event and all members of NoVA’s business community are invited to attend.
