Fort Hunt Elementary School students participate in last weekend’s Back to School Picnic and Bike Rodeo.
Mount Vernon — Fort Hunt Elementary School students and family members learned bike safety tips at last weekend’s Back to School Picnic and Bike Rodeo. Students rode around through different obstacle courses and families picnicked in the school yard.
In addition, the FHES immersion department and the PTA launched a new Family Ambassador Program linking families who have participated in the immersion program for at least two years to support those families who are joining the Fort Hunt community from another base school to participate in the immersion program as well as families that are simply just new to the community.
